That is why he supports extending unemployment benefits, providing paid family leave to help people take care of sick family members, and making reopening decisions based on science, not politics.

As a small business owner, Stephen understands that small businesses are the lifeblood of our local economy. In times like these, they need support to continue to serve our communities and keep hard-working Texans employed. That is why Stephen will make sure that critical government PPP loans are prioritized for small businesses and stop allowing handouts to multi-million-dollar corporations.

As someone who grew up hunting and fishing, and continues to be an avid sportsman, Stephen is a gun owner who believes we can both protect the Second Amendment while keeping guns out of dangerous hands. Stephen believes in common sense legislation like universal background checks and keeping people convicted of domestic violence from owning guns.

As the first in his family to graduate from college, Stephen Daniel understands the life-changing impact of a quality, public education. Public education gave him the opportunity to succeed and grow from working at a landfill to owning a waste disposal business. That is why Stephen believes we need to fully fund Texas public schools and make college affordable.
